Meet melanie Brennan, RP

About Me

When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m usually embracing the beautiful chaos of life as a wife and a mother of two. These roles deeply inform my work, keeping me grounded and empathetic to the complexities of family life. To recharge, I’m an avid reader and a curious traveler who loves exploring new cultures, usually through their local food. I believe that a life well-lived is about balance, a philosophy I bring into my practice every day.

Who I Work With

I offer support for individuals and partners navigating life’s transitions:

  • Teens (13+): I help adolescents navigate identity, school pressures, and emotional regulation in a safe, supportive environment designed for their unique developmental stage.
  • Individuals: Using an integrative blend of CBT and ACT, we work together to tackle anxiety, depression, manage stress, etc. and achieve your personal growth goals.
  • Couples: I utilize compassion-focused techniques as well as the Gottman approach to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and deepen their emotional connection.

Modalities

I believe that real change starts with a sense of safety. That’s why I prioritize creating a secure, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard. By blending evidence-based tools like CBT and ACT with mindfulness and compassion-focused techniques, I customize our work to fit your specific rhythm, goals, and unique life story.
