Meet Sharda Haniff, RP (Qualifying)

Who I Work With

Across all work, I provide inclusive, culturally responsive care and tailor therapy to each individual or relationship. My goal is to help clients build emotional awareness, resilience, and practical tools they can use both inside and outside of therapy.


  • Children: I use play-based and creative therapies - including art, storytelling, and puppets, to help children express their emotions. My focus is on teaching calming strategies and child-adapted CBT, while working closely with parents to provide practical at-home support.
  • Teens: I provide a non-judgmental space for adolescents to explore identity and self-esteem. Together, we build healthy coping strategies for school pressure, anxiety, and peer conflict using mindfulness and CBT-based grounding techniques.
  • Adults: I support individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. My approach integrates emotion regulation and attachment-based work to help you manage irritability, strengthen boundaries, and find a clearer sense of direction.
  • Couples: I help partners move past unhelpful conflict cycles by identifying emotional triggers and attachment needs. Our work focuses on improving communication, deepening empathy, and rebuilding trust to create a secure emotional foundation.

Modalities

I use an integrative, collaborative, and culturally responsive approach to therapy. My work is evidence-based and tailored to each client’s age, developmental stage, cultural background, and lived experience. I combine practical skill-building with emotional insight, drawing from CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, humanistic and existential therapy, attachment-based work, and relational approaches. My focus is on helping clients understand their emotions, build regulation skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their daily lives.
